The Double Sided Warrior and Bishop Pendant is based on two of eight early Christian stone figures located in an ecclesiastical settlement on White Island in Lower Lough Erne, County Fermanagh.
One side depicts a bishop thought to date back to medieval times when church was in turmoil, and the other side depicts a curly-headed warrior, wearing a penannular brooch and holding a small round shield over a short sword; interpretations include Christ militant and David the warrior.
