Our Newgrange pieces are based on carvings from the stones in the megalithic mounds in Co. Meath, Ireland. Thought to be a solar calculator, the Sun shines down a long shaft at the Solstice. The site dates from circa 3500BC. It is thought to be one of the oldest man-made monuments in the World.

Description

Our Solstice Stone Pendant is crafted using 925 sterling silver or gold. We were inspired by carved designs on a stone from Knowth (a Neolithic passage grave and an ancient monument, of the World Heritage Site) thought to depict the movements of the Moon.

A story card about Newgrange is included with every piece from this collection.
