Our Newgrange pieces are based on carvings from the stones in the megalithic mounds in Co. Meath, Ireland. Thought to be a solar calculator, the Sun shines down a long shaft at the Solstice. The site dates from circa 3500BC. It is thought to be one of the oldest man-made monuments in the World.

Description

Our Small Kerbstone Pendant is crafted using 925 sterling silver or gold. The design is based on what is known as the Kerbstone, which can be found at Newgrange, County Meath, Ireland. This large stone is placed at the entrance to the chamber and is carved with numerous sun spirals.

A story card about Newgrange is included with every piece from this collection.
