This design is inspired by the Irish oak, or ‘King of the Forest’, a much-loved symbol for truth, courage and wisdom in Celtic mythology. For thousands of years, the Druids, whose name comes from the Celtic word for oak, ‘duir’, have worshipped the Irish oak as their most sacred tree due to its strength and longevity.
