Connemara Marble is over 600 million years old. It is rare and found only in a remote area in the Connemara Mountains of Western Ireland.

The Claddagh Ring depicts two hands holding a heart. A crown often sits above the hands and heart. The symbolism of the motif correspond to Love (the Heart), Friendship (the Hands) and Loyalty (the Crown)
